Moving cartons come in multiple different sizes.
Here's a quick guide to understand what carton is best for your items.

Tip #1 - Size matters
When packing your household goods, it is important to pick the right box. The following is a quick guide to understand what can be packed according to size.
1.5 cu. ft. box is recommended for: books, canned goods, hand/power tools, and small appliances.
3 cu. ft. box is recommended for: kitchen utensils, lampshades, pots and pans, and toys.
4.5 and 6.0 cu. ft. boxes are recommended for: bedding, large toys, lightweight items, and pillows.
Stand-Up Wardrobe box is recommended for: hanging clothes, curtains, and draperies.
Dish packs box is recommended for: bowls, dishes, glasses, lamps, light appliances, and small pictures.
Mirror Box is recommended for: glass tops, large pictures, and mirrors.
Mattress Boxes are recommended for: crib, twin, standard, double, queen and king size mattresses.
Tip #2 - Take advantage!
What do we mean by "take advantage!"? When moving local or interstate this is a great opportunity to get rid of the old. The following sums it up:

Tip #3 - Protect Your Sentimental Values
We often hear "there are things money can't buy," and this is so true when we cannot replace something with sentimental value. Your Great-grandmother's ring that was passed from generation to generation, or a special crucifix that was hand carved by your Mother's Grandfather.
All sentimental high value items should receive the proper care; therefore, we often recommend that you take your high value items with you. However, if the item is too large to take with you, it is highly recommended to let your moving crew know that the item needs special attention or perhaps a wooden crate (crates are discussed next).
Tip #4 - Box? or Crate?
Boxes are commonly used for packing about 90% of household goods, and the reason is often because they are easy to use, carry, and they stack better in the moving truck. On the other hand, Custom Crates are wooden crates that are custom built, and they are ideal for: antiques, chandeliers, delicate items, larger glass tabletops, marble, statuary, and trophies.
Tip #5 - You have options
When moving local or interstate keep in mind that you don't have to do everything yourself. You have options, and our goal is to help our customers pick was fits your needs, and your budget.
